Overview

AVX recovers value from returned and excess inventory for its e-commerce clients. We designed and built AVX Returns – a branded web portal where those clients track every unit received and sold, watch the dollars they’ve recovered in real time, pull payout statements, and manage their own banking details – fed by a live migration and ongoing sync of their existing Sellercloud data, and backed by an internal admin console for approving and managing accounts.

The challenge

AVX was growing fast but had no interface for its e-commerce clients to view or manage their accounts – clients couldn’t see what had been received, what had sold, or what they were owed. All of that data already lived in the Sellercloud API, but it needed serious cleanup and had to stay synchronized with the new software in real time. And with the critical holiday season bearing down, none of it could wait.

What we built

We designed, built, and launched the full portal in six weeks. At its core is a live data layer: we migrated all historical Sellercloud data, parsed and stored it in a new database, and kept it synchronized with Sellercloud in real time. On top of that, each client gets a dashboard tracking Total Recovered, Units Sold, and Units Received across selectable time ranges with trend charts; a products view that breaks performance down unit-by-unit with search and availability filters; a statements view listing every payout with downloadable records; and an account area to manage their profile, security, and ACH banking details. New customers sign up behind an admin approval queue, and an internal admin console handles user approvals and account management.

The outcome

AVX went into its busiest season with a complete, beautifully designed client portal – built and launched in just six weeks. Their e-commerce clients can now log in to see recovered dollars, units, and statements in real time, set up their own payouts, and onboard through a controlled approval flow, all backed by a live Sellercloud sync that keeps the numbers current without manual work.
